Allah has permitted us all that is pure and good for us, while He has forbidden all that is impure and bad for us. We are told, in no uncertain terms, that drinking is a vice that entails much harm to the individuals and societies:
"O YOU who have attained to faith! Intoxicants, and games of chance, and idolatrous practices, and the divining of the future are but a loathsome evil of Satan's doing:' shun it, then, so that you might attain to a happy state!" (Qur'an: 5:90).
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah has cursed ten persons associated with intoxicants, including those produce or sell or buy or transport them, etc." In other words, everyone who is facilitating drinking is virtually condemned. The reason for this is clear: It is one of the worst enemies of humankind, entailing dire consequences for individuals, families and society. According to one estimate that the millions and millions wasted on this habit can alone solve the poverty of the whole world.
Therefore, by promoting this vice, you are not different from someone who is selling poison. So, I urge you to prefer to rent the space to someone who is providing a beneficial service, even it may be less profitable, for there are always blessings in that which is purely halaal.
